According to the inside sources, Nissan Pulsar hot hatch with turbocharged petrol engine is coming to Paris Motor Show

Nissan Pulsar hatchback tuned-up version is likely to be seen in Paris this week. It is reported that the new Pulsar hot hatch will feature a 1.6 Litre turbocharged Nissan petrol engine. The all new Pulsar NISMO was seen at the product presentation desk where NISMO owners were presenting the car. New Pulsar revealed with a new front and redesigned bumper with extended air intakes and redesigned grille. It can be noticed that the LED set is also redesigned and it has larger alloys now.

In the spy shot, you cannot see the rear of the Pulsar hatch but it is common sense that if front is largely modified then rear should also have gone under some modifications. Inside sources reported that the rear end of hatch has an aggressive rear bumper with similar modifications as of front bumpers. Side skirts and spoilers are also modified, however, it has got performance brakes and refined suspension system. It is expected that the new Pulsar engine will also have some refinement tweaks to deliver top notch performance.

It is very obvious that a 1.6 Litre turbocharged petrol engine will lead the new Pulsar with the power of 187 horses. It is due to be offered in Pulsar range by next year. Same engine has already been confirmed in Nissan Juke NISMO RS, this beauty will go on sale in December. The engine produces 215bhp and 207lb ft of torque.

Andy Palmer is the former boss of Nissan and during his tenure at Nissan, he promised on the behalf of Nissan that the firm will offer Pulsar NISMO in two versions, NISMO S and NISMO RS. This refinement package is a follow up of that promise. The RS is a front wheel drive version and taking the Nürburgring record away from the Renault Trophy. Renault took the crown earlier this year with Megane Trophy R 275 of 271bhp.
